We use HAVE TO to talk about and things that are . It's a normal verb that works exactly the same way as , which you already know.

If something is obligatory you say, I do it. That is, the form is [HAVE TO + ].

If something is obligatory you say, I have to do it. So, the form is DO + not + [have to + Infinitive].
