What does an opinion have to be to qualify as an opinion?
Based on reason and rationally justifiable.
Well-formulated and agreeable.
Popular.
Close to what the teacher thinks.
In a discussion, how should you answer someone whose ideas are opposed to yours?
Respectfully towards their person and reasonably towards their opinion.
Make it personal, shout and really argue -it's such fun!
Not at all. everyone says what they think, and then it's over.
With pity. Whoever is not of my opinion must be stupid.
What do you do if the data you use does not support your opinion?
Throw out the data. I know I'm right, so the data must be wrong.
First, I double-check. Then, I may have to change my opinion.
I make sure nobody else knows or finds out.
I change the data. After all, who's going to check?
